Temple sponsor The Manches Cup

Temple was proud to sponsor and enter a team into The Manches Cup which took place between 16 & 17 May 2009.
The Manches Cup is the main social and sporting event for the legal community and is one of the largest sailing events in the yachting calender.
Entry is open to competitors of all levels of experience and to crews from law firms, in-house counsel, barristers’ chambers and suppliers to the legal industry.
Temple's team consisted of Michael Lent (Temple) Simon Blows (Temple), Damian Horan (Moore Blatch), Peter Taylor (Paris Smith), Guy Perkins (TWM), captained by David Evans (Dickies International) and finished a very impressive second in both races. Unfortunately due to an archaic handicap system the team ended up finishing last!
