After-the-event Insurance

After-the-event (ATE) insurance can be obtained for most type of litigation from Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence to all types of Commercial disputes.

Cover is available to enable your business to defend employment or health and safety disputes. Every week there are increasing number of claims where employees take their employers to tribunal over a variety of issues; mostly discrimination, unfair dismissal and safety related.

Commercial Legal Protection

This is a comprehensive protection policy for your business should it be the subject of a complaint leading to litigation or require assistance in the pursuit of a litigation claim. Areas of cover include employment, tax and contract disputes.

Family Legal Protection

This provides protection for a wide variety of legal events that could affect you, such as employment disputes or personal injury claims. The cover either acts as your defence or as your prosecution of an action up to £25,000 of costs.

Group and Affinity Schemes

Temple has a wide range of products that can be individually tailored to a set of requirements or circumstances of a unique market or group. Following assessment of the group's needs or characteristics, a bespoke scheme can be created and branded accordingly.

Cover is available to protect businesses in disputes arising out of intellectual property – in this entrepreneurial world your ideas are often your most valuable asset.

Motorist Legal Protection

This provides recovery of otherwise uninsured losses to your vehicle and the things that are in or on it and legal pursuit against a negligent third party for injury or death caused to you and/or your passengers whilst in, on, mounting or dismounting from your vehicle. The cover provides prosecution of an action up to £50,000 of costs.

Tax & Investigation Schemes

Cover can be provided to protect individuals or businesses against investigation by the Inland Revenue or Customs and Excise authorities. There are expected to be 100,000 investigations this year and random self assessment investigations are now carried out.
